Lipton Ice Lemon Tea or Pokka Ice Lemon Tea?

Ok, it is summer now here in Australia and I feel like being cooked on a frying pan. I need more cold sugar drinks to keep up!

Lipton Ice Lemon Tea and Pokka Ice Lemon Tea are my favorites. They taste around the same... Oh wait, not really, I am feeling that Pokka is actually sweeter!!

For every 250mL serving I found out that the Calories intake are:
Lipton : 70Cal
Pokka: 100Cal

30% difference!! Hell yeah, that is a lot. Hey Pokka stop making us fat and getting diabetes.

Well, How much Calories you can take a day?
You can use this website as reference, Scientific Psychic.

Hmmm.... Could you really afford that 30% more Calories for sweeter drink? What would you pick?

If you want to keep your habit of consuming sugar drinks, just exercise and exercise!! Well saying that, I have actually been missing a lot of my daily exercises... -__-"

  2. I personally do not enjoy Iced tea or coffee.
Im a traditionalist and enjoy them heated (not too hot but) and for the price of 1 bottle I can almost get 50 tea bags and make them myself.

Hot tea has more benefits than the iced counter-part.

Here is an extract from an article I found:

Cold beverages must be warmed within the body to a certain temperature before they begin to break down and allow absorption into the bloodstream.

By drinking hot tea instead, the nutrients spread throughout the body faster, providing nourishment at a more efficient pace.
