Lipton Ice Lemon Tea or Pokka Ice Lemon Tea?

Ok, it is summer now here in Australia and I feel like being cooked on a frying pan. I need more cold sugar drinks to keep up!

Lipton Ice Lemon Tea and Pokka Ice Lemon Tea are my favorites. They taste around the same... Oh wait, not really, I am feeling that Pokka is actually sweeter!!

For every 250mL serving I found out that the Calories intake are:
Lipton : 70Cal
Pokka: 100Cal

30% difference!! Hell yeah, that is a lot. Hey Pokka stop making us fat and getting diabetes.

Well, How much Calories you can take a day?
You can use this website as reference, Scientific Psychic.

Hmmm.... Could you really afford that 30% more Calories for sweeter drink? What would you pick?

If you want to keep your habit of consuming sugar drinks, just exercise and exercise!! Well saying that, I have actually been missing a lot of my daily exercises... -__-"

Doy Tung Thai First Impression

Just had a dinner with my bro in Doy Tung Thai, ordered Chasew Nut Chicken Stir-fry and Pork Red Curry. With rice, it ended up costing around $30, not that expensive.

Eatabiliy gives the following score with overall rating 6.4
  • Food : 5.6
  • Ambience : 6.1
  • Service : 6.6
  • Value : 7.4
Well, the Cashew Nut Stir-fry wasn't that good, the taste is like sweet teriyaki ketchup while the Pork Red Curry is much better with the tender and soft meat and tasty red curry sauce but so much veggies and little meat...

I will give around same score as Eatablity except the food and service score swapped, mainly because I don't like waitresses who can't speak English, not that my English is that good to judge others, but I believe you need to be able to speak English at a certain level of competency when you are working in Australia.

Why do I get my beautiful HTC Desire HD??

Ok guys, here is my first review on my review blog in which I am planning to review everything, not just IT thingy. And I am just writing the post for my own enjoyment so if there is any thing mentioned that you feel inaccurate, feel free to correct me (but no childish flaming needed).

So I just recently finished my 2 years contract on my Nokia N95 8GB and I have to say those were not really a good experience. There were a lot of times where the phone just hanged and I needed to reboot it over and over again.

Thus as soon as the contract ended, well actually before it ended, I was already researching which smart phone I should get.

BlackBerry? All the crazed about BB messenger is everywhere especially in Indo where BB essentially dominating the market. But well, I am not really the kind of guy who likes to chat much, I prefer meeting face to face although I agree that messenger is convenient tool to some extend.

So it leaves down to iPhone vs Android phone. Samsung does release quite handful of Android phones and Samsung Galaxy S does receive very positive review, but the design doesn't fit my liking.
Ultimately it comes down to HTC Desire HD vs iPhone 4.

I was not going to just blindly follow the crowd and pick iPhone 4 like those many Apple fan boys, especially with the infamous Death Grip although the issue was fixed later on by Apple, or did they?

HTC Desire HD vs. iPhone 4

Firstly of course it always comes down to the basics, the technical, the hardware. You can compare them here, HTC Desire HD vs iPhone 4 . And CNET for reviews of all smart phones.
Well HTC Desire HD lacks of video calls, but that doesn't really matter for me as I don't really use them and it will probably just kill your already limited battery life really fast. And mobile phones already have poor battery life!! In this hardware battle, HTC Desire HD make it with better camera of 8 MB pixels.

The design, my friend told me that iPhone 4 has better and sleek design than HTC Desire. Come on, pls look at them physically, you won't find much difference (color, size, etc). Kinda funny how people trying to justify their opinion.

I finally picked HTC Desire HD because of the screeen size! I think this should be the right size for all smart phones out there. Admit it people, the soft keyboard on 3.5 inches screen size are just too small for you fat fingers. And the 4.3 inches wide screen on HTC Desire HD is winning the throne for my favorite thingy on the bus to work every morning, browsing news and watch YouTube.

Well that is just some quick opinions from my non-IT's perspective, from my own software developer's view is that another extra points for HTC Desire HD is that it is using Android OS which means more control to developers like me to tweak it around when I have free time.

Winner for my next 2 years hard-earned money definitely : HTC Desire HD.
